Whether you’re on Maui, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Big Island, or Kauai, follow the 3 steps below to properly register your new trailer;
1. Take your trailer, MSO, Bill Of Sale, current vehicle registration and insurance to a State of Hawaii certified Safety Inspector.
2. Take your Safety Certificate provided by your safety inspector to the DMV with your Pono Trailers’ MSO and Bill of Sale. They will provide you a license plate and registration for the trailer after paying the required state fees.
3. Take your trailer with the new license plate, registration, and vehicle registration and insurance back to your original safety inspector. They will provide you with a valid safety certificate.
